For years, she’s been trying to convince her neighbor to come in, but the 15-minute drive to our old Martinsville location was always a dealbreaker for him.
Now that we’ve moved 15 minutes in the direction of Warren, we’re practically in his backyard and that was enough to get him to finally try it out.
When he came in for his first session, he shared the biggest reason he wanted to start: recently, while walking up the stairs, he noticed it was much more challenging than it used to be.
Even though he walks a lot each day, he realized that it’s not enough to keep his body strong in all the ways that matter.
Without strength training, everyday activities, like carrying groceries, getting in and out of a chair, or going up a flight of stairs would only get harder with time.
That’s when he decided he needed professional guidance to make sure he’s moving well, getting stronger, and preventing those struggles from becoming the norm.
Now, just a few sessions in, he’s already feeling more confident about what’s possible.
He’s committed to building the strength he needs not just for workouts, but for all the little moments in life where strength truly matters.
