A guy called me recently and said he wanted to try out our gym. At first, it was surprising—he had lost 30 pounds, gotten stronger, and loved his current gym.
So why was he reaching out?
Injuries. Three recent ones.
He was starting to feel pain during workouts and worried it might turn into something worse. He was worried that he’d stop enjoying fitness altogether. That’s a scary thought, especially since he only started working out a little before turning 40.
The worse part, he knew exactly which two exercises were bothering him, but felt obligated to continue doing them.
His current gym helped him build healthy habits. That’s awesome. But the workouts there are the same for everyone. And no one workout works for everybody. Sometimes, that leads to injury.
He has a friend who trains with us and told him how our gym is different. Every person gets a custom program, designed just for them.
Right now, this guy can’t perform the majority of upper body movements while he does physical therapy.
He can still train his legs, core, and do cardio. With a custom plan, he can stay consistent, keep getting stronger, and let his shoulder heal the right way.
This is why custom workouts matter. They help you stay safe, stay strong, and stay on track.
